Position Summary: AmeriCorps member will be assisting in the development and delivery of native plant environmental education programs and service projects for area schools and community members. This native plant education program includes strong hands-on and place-based components to engage learners in meaningful education for the protection of natural resources through in-classroom presentations/lessons and youth environmental service learning projects. The member will also support a native plant nursery operation that provides plant material for restoration and trail maintenance projects throughout the region. The position assists with all aspects of the nursery operation, including potting, quality control, irrigation, organization, planning and pest and disease monitoring. T
