GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Assistant Park Superintendent and in cooperation with the Regional Interpretive Specialist, this position performs routine (journey-level) operations work in a state park and is responsible for interpretation, educational programming, promoting conservation, and stewardship of Martin Dies, Jr. State Park and its natural and cultural Resources.  Researches, plans, develops, facilitates, and evaluates interpretive and educational programs, exhibits, guided walks and tours, special events, trainings, and outreach programs based on the interpretive master plan of the park and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) mission.  Conducts site and agency promotion and marketing.  Assists with oversight of volunteer
