From giraffes to cheetahs, to elephants, white rhinos, and hoofstock, our Plains Keepers do it all! The Indianapolis Zoo is currently on the hunt for a full-time Plains Keeper to join our herd! The ideal candidate is committed to advancing the Zoo's mission to protect nature and inspire people to care for our world. Daily responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to exhibit and animal holding maintenance, diet preparation, training animals, record keeping, and assisting veterinary staff as needed. Prior experience working with and training of hoofstock, rhinos, tigers, brown bears, red pandas, kangaroos, and/ or cheetahs is highly desired.
