POSITION SUMMARY The Policy Manager designs and implements local, national and international policy strategies of the organization to uphold, increase and ensure the protection of endangered marine species and healthy ocean and watershed habitats. The position works closely with TIRN’s program, communication and development staff as well as pro bono attorneys and partnering organizations, coalitions and their legal teams to implement effective conservation strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES • Work with Executive Director, Managing Director and staff on long-range ocean and watershed planning • Responsible for policy planning, innovative strategies, and research on behalf of the organization. Requires familiarity with government programs and policies on local, state and national/o
