The USDA/APHIS/WS/NWRC/ feral swine research project is seeking a post-doctoral researcher to examine upcoming eradication efforts of feral swine and Philippine deer from properties on Anderson Air Force Base, Guam. The goal of the research is to develop methods for maximizing the efficiency of eradication efforts that are likely to continue. The scientist’s primary duties will include: 1) evaluating changes in population of feral ungulates relative to eradication efforts, 2) evaluating animal movements relative to eradication efforts, 3) participate in the experimental design/analysis relative to the above, 4) lead a field crew of researchers, and 5) develop own lines of research relative to the above.
