About this exciting Opportunity Your role will play an integral part in contributing to the advancement of AIMS’s Crown-of-Thorns starfish (COTS) research, and with little known about COTS stimuli you will conduct important research to search for pheromone attractants that modulate behaviours of adult COTS. Importantly, you will apply this knowledge to assess the potential of semiochemicals for application as attractants or deterrents to control COTS populations.   Working independently under the guidance from senior scientists, you will have significant input to the COTS Control Innovation program research and project scoping and planning, as well as developing project work plans and evaluating best approaches to ensure project objectives are achieved.
