The Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Bioinformatics and Genomics of Adaptation will assist with bioinformatics and analyses to support investigations into the genetic architecture of thermal tolerance phenotypes in corals. The Research Fellow will help achieve outputs from the Enhanced Corals and Treatments subprogram of the Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Assisting with bioinformatics, analyses, writing and publication preparation for research outputs;
- Providing comprehensive support, advice, and collaboration to AIMS researchers and team members using genomic tools;
- Seek to develop rigorous high throughput procedures for managing the rapid analysis of large genomic data sets, and;
