The Cardinale lab  at Penn State is looking to hire a Postdoctoral Scholar to join our research team and help extend work on how biodiversity influences ecosystem services. The successful candidate will have liberty to pursue numerous avenues of research, including: (1) working on new data syntheses to summarize existing studies that have quantified biodiversity’s role in regulating ecosystem services; (2) leading novel lab or field-based studies to determine how biodiversity affects ecosystem services; (3) developing ecological production functions that quantify the monetary or non-monetary value of biodiversity to one
