A postdoctoral scholar position is available at the Friday Harbor Laboratories, University of Washington https://fhl.uw.edu/. We seek a marine genomics scholar who can benefit from facilities and equipment being acquired as part of an NSF-funded Genomics at the Shoreline funding. The scholar is expected to conduct work appropriate for a marine field station and to reside on San Juan Island, working under the mentorship of a faculty member at FHL or at other UW campuses. Co-mentorship by a non-UW scientist can be considered. This position will be an initial 12-month appointment, with funds available for an additional year pending satisfactory performance.
