Established in 1967, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is the largest regional nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to saving the Chesapeake Bay, its rivers and streams, and the wildlife that call it home through education, advocacy, litigation, and restoration. The Potomac River Environmental Education Captain/Educator engages students, teachers, and other participants on day long explorations of the history, beauty and ecology of the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers. The Captain/Educator will co-design and co-lead experiences on a floating classroom, the 50-foot workboat, Bea Hayman Clark.
