We live in exciting times for ecologists and biodiversity specialists and Arup is increasingly involved in large offsetting and regenerative land management projects. This role is for a principal ecologist within our Consulting West team, based mainly in Cardiff, with travel to other offices and work locations in the West Region and beyond as required. We are actively encouraging flexible working and would be happy to discuss this in more detail with potential candidates. The Principal Ecologist will be a practical and pragmatic individual, able to respond to client needs and develop innovative design solutions to challenging problems. They will be a technically excellent ecologist, with demonstrable experience of managing and delivering ecological elements and designs on major projects
