DES is seeking to appoint a Technical Officer (Ecologist) who possesses extensive experience in the conservation, monitoring and management of threatened species, particularly birds, to contribute to the regulation of resource activities under the Environmental Protection Act 1994.  In particular, we are seeking individuals with specialised skills in bird ecology and threatened species habitat management. The role location is negotiable, but you'll need to be flexible to travel, including overnight.
