BACKGROUND
The primary aim of this position is to support the two Programme Officers in providing technical and scientific support to the EC on the EU Invasive Alien Species Regulation, and in supporting the application of the new IUCN Environmental Impact Classification for Alien Taxa (EICAT). This includes supporting the co-ordination, production and review of analyses and guidance documents, and the organising and running of workshops. The position will also have responsibility for other invasive alien species activities as they arise.
The salary for this position is: £23,500 p.a.
