Freshwater Habitats Trust is a friendly, well respected conservation charity that works to protect freshwater wildlife through practical, evidence-based and effective nature conservation projects. We are now recruiting for this post:

Project Manager

£27,000-£30,000 p/a depending on experience

17-month full time contract with potential for conversion to a permanent position for a suitable candidate. Based in Oxford office with substantial flexibility for working from home.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager to run Freshwater Habitats Trust’s new multi-partner Green Recovery Challenge Fund project ‘Building Oxfordshire’s Freshwater Network: engaging people in nature’s recovery’. Evidence of ability to manage multi partner projects involving freshwater habitats will be essential, either involving habitat creation/management or working with citizens in practical conservation programmes. Evidence of budget management and staff management/training experience desirable, along with knowledge of the ecology of freshwater ecosystems.
