Dredging is ongoing for a site in southern Rhode Island. They will be requiring a PSO on their trips out to the Disposal Site, located approximately 13 miles south of Narragansett Bay. They are planning to conduct daily runs to the disposal site, each run will last an estimated 8-10 hours. This will be a ‘live aboard’ set up, where you will remain on the tug for the duration of your deployment. PSO’s onboard the vessel towing the scow will be expected to be posted on lookout during daylight hours, when the disposal vessels are under way and traveling to, at or returning from the disposal site. As the designated observer, you must:
