Help manage natural wonders and cultural treasures along the Central Queensland coast and surrounds. As directed by the Ranger in Charge or 2IC, you will plan and deliver the Work Unit’s Operational Plan and Annual Work Plan. This will include plant and equipment use and maintenance, pest plant and animal management, planned burning and wildfire suppression and park infrastructure maintenance. Most work is field-based, but you will also undertake administrative tasks. You will also manage small projects, undertake compliance and perform natural and cultural resource management duties.
