The Roma Remote Work Unit is responsible for managing several national parks and state forests, a diverse landscape of sandstone escarpments and dry vine forest communities with significant natural and cultural values. The delivery of projects and outcomes according to annual work programs and the departments’ Key Value Management Framework, with a specific focus on developing and implementing the weed and pest animal control program, asset management which includes maintenance of roads, firebreaks, buildings and visitor infrastructure.
