This role's focus area is leading a team of rangers responsible for the day-to-day management of parks and forests within the Carnarvon North area. Whilst the successful applicant will be involved in general operational ranger activities, priority will be given to coordinating and overseeing day-to-day management activities and strategic projects. Experience in staff supervision, leadership, natural resource management, visitor management and working in remote locations is highly sought after. This position is based in Springsure however, long distance travel to other locations will be required, where overnight accommodation may vary from motels to park barracks, to bush camps in remote locations under a range of climatic conditions (refer to attached location guide).
