Main purpose of the post RECORD’s Database Officer is responsible for maintenance and analysis of the RECORD data holdings; including capture and management of GIS datasets and compiling reports on species, sites and habitats. In addition, the post holder will develop and document reporting procedures to encourage greater use of RECORD data by its partners. Working alongside staff and volunteers the Database Officer will maintain and develop relationships with the natural history recording community; providing technical support and guidance.
