The Krassel Ranger District, Payette National Forest, is recruiting for three Recreation Trail Technician Interns beginning May 24 through September 20th. This position will be embedded as a crew member on a Forest Service Trail and Wilderness Crew in Krassel Ranger District. The District is made up of rugged mountains, densely forested, deep canyons with many wild rivers and high mountain lakes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This placement is with the Payette National Forest’s Krassel Ranger District. Nintey percent (90%) of the incumbent’s time will entail working as a crew member on a self-contained backpacking crew that performs light and heavy maintenance on the District system trails, including logout and tread repair.
