Under the direction of the Senior Resource Ecologist, performs a wide variety of field and administrative work activities related to protecting and managing the natural and cultural resources of District land holdings. Monitors, maps, and records the ecological features and condition of District lands within an assigned region (and at times throughout the District’s holdings as directed) in support of the District’s natural and cultural resource plans and policies. Assists with determining land management needs and the design of ecological restoration projects.
