We are seeking a remote sensing scientist with a higher degree in a physical, mathematical, computational or biological discipline and experience in remote sensing (RS) analyses and data application. The scientist will work within UNEP-WCMC’s Science Programme which aims to enhance the scientific quality of the Centre’s work through research, training and partnership development. The main purpose of the job is to provide remote sensing expertise, modelling and spatial analysis skills to support a range of projects and project development opportunities, with an emphasis on the use of remote sensing data and products (e.g., for model development and validation).
