The MBL seeks a highly motivated individual to join the National Xenopus Resource (NXR) at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) as a research assistant and animal care technician. The successful candidate will contribute to projects within the NXR and will be involved with the generation and husbandry of Xenopus laevis and Xenopus tropicalis frogs. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Husbandry for Xenopus laevis and Xenopus tropicalis frogs, maintenance of modular life support systems for holding frogs, breeding of frogs, microscopy, data entry, general lab organization and maintenance.
