Environment and Geography

We are seeking a Research Associate in Environmental Modelling to work on an NERC-funded project involving the University of York, the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology and the University of Aberdeen. The project is exploring the uptake and effects of chemical pollutants, arising from legacy waste sites, in coastal food chains and will deliver a risk assessment framework that can be used in the future to inform management decisions. The position will be based in the Environment and Geography Department which is a leading centre for teaching and research on sustainable solutions to the world's environmental issues.
