The world’s wetlands, and the species they support, are in trouble; globally wetlands are disappearing three times faster than forests, and currently more than a quarter of wetland species face extinction. As the UK’s largest wetland conservation charity we are a community of dedicated staff, volunteers and members, brought together by a love of wetlands and a drive to protect them. WWT’s Conservation Evidence department is a vibrant, multidisciplinary team of passionate scientists. Above all, we have impact: our research diagnoses problems and identifies solutions, and in doing so we shape policy and action for global wetland conservation.
