Applications are invited for a Research Officer or Research Fellow in Fisheries Science on a fixed term, full time basis working in The School of Ocean Sciences at Bangor University. Duties will include leading work in developing future stock assessment methods for crab and lobster in the short and longer term, designing the long-term fisheries independent and dependant data collection protocol to achieve identified stock assessment methodologies, and carrying out a pilot annual stock survey for crab and lobster in Wales. In addition, the successful candidate will be involved in reviewing sampling and assessment methods for other shellfisheries such as whelk and scallop.
