The Seattle Aquarium, a leading marine conservation organization, is looking for a Research Technician to join the Conservation Programs and Partnerships team. The Research Technician is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Coastal Complexity & Resilience (CCR) research and conservation projects including but not limited to; gathering subtidal imagery and data in the field with a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), maintaining the ROV, imagery post-processing activities, and overlaying abundance and percent-cover community data onto existing habitat layers to create maps and create species-distribution models. This position will work as a part of a multicultural team of internal and external partners, including Tribal, state, federal, academic, private, and diverse community
