The lab is seeking a Research Technician II (RT II) to join an exciting and collegial team of investigators. The RT II will manage my mouse colony and perform a variety of complex technical duties involved in conducting laboratory tests, experiments and determinations in support of Duke University research operations.

Work Performed

  • A primary duty of this RT II will be to manage my mouse colony by genotyping and maintaining strains, setting up and checking timed mating's, keeping accurate records, and minimizing cage costs where possible.  This RT II will also perform a variety of complex technical duties involved in conducting physical, chemical, biological and other research laboratory tests, experiments and determinations to obtain data for research purpos
