New England Aquarium is seeking a Research Technician to join the long-standing right whale research team as part of the Kraus Marine Mammal Conservation Program. The Research Technician must have experience with North Atlantic right whale photo identification and a strong analytical background with some programming experience. This position is focused primarily on processing right whale photo identification data using customized DIGITS software. Additional duties may include participating in some fieldwork, primarily on vessel-based platforms, assisting with data management and analysis, and providing analytical support for those analyses.
