The Resource Management and Maintenance Individual Placement at Monocacy National Battlefield will work directly with both the Natural and Cultural Resource Management, and Maintenance divisions to complete a wide variety of field projects in Summer 2022.  The 12-week position will work as part of multiple ‘teams’ to complete projects such as trail maintenance and repair; fence repair and construction; exotic plant management; landscaping; native species plantings; grass mowing and trimming; painting; and other summer projects.  Interns will work with various tools and equipment including hand tools, trimmers, backpack and tank herbicide sprayers, and chainsaws.
