The Resources and Infrastructure Associate (RIA) acts as the technical support and secondary contact for natural resource development, management and policy activities, as well as related infrastructure and land use (planning) activities across the Saugeen Ojibway Nation Territory. A core function of this position is to support the Resources and Infrastructure Manager (RIM) in carrying-out SON’s consultation process and ensure that the duty to consult is properly scoped and fulfilled and SON’s rights, interests, and Territory (lands, waters, wildlife, areas of cultural / ancestral significance) are protected.
