American Conservation Experience, a Nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking 1 Restoration & Invasive Species Fellow for a 15-week term to conduct Burn Area Emergency Restoration (BAER) . BAER will include invasive species treatment via hand tools/chemical treatment, small sections of fence repair, habitat restoration, biological monitoring, and comprehensive report writing. The fellow will be fairly independent in the BAER project, but will also assist refuge staff in other projects such as, wildlife surveys and endangered species surveys on Kern National Wildlife Refuge.
