British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) are looking to recruit a Ringing Officer to join the Ringing and Nest Recording Team, which supports UK conservation efforts through the operation of volunteer surveys that monitor bird survival and breeding success. The post-holder will undertake a broad range of data management and validation tasks central to the function of the Trust’s Ringing Scheme, including processing reports of ringed birds, exchanging information with other national ringing schemes and leading on digitisation of archive data.
