As part of our River Assessment Field Team (RAFT), The Riparian Data Mapping Field Intern will assist in surveying and mapping The San Diego River. This person will help to monitor for and map the presence of homeless encampments, trash, stormwater debris and other types of litter found within the sensitive habitats of the San Diego River watershed. They work together with staff and other volunteers. COVID-19: Field programs at SDRPF are currently operating with COVID-19 safety protocols in place. The Intern will be expected to learn and implement these protocols. All additional internship work will be completed at home. As the situation changes, we anticipate that field work may be expanded and office work may become possible. If this happens, SDRPF staff will modify procedures as need
