Main purpose of the job:
Manage and develop the RFS Teaching Trees programme
Main responsibilities:
Manage the team of freelance Education Officers, including recruitment, induction, training,
performance and information sharing.
Manage the operational relationship with RFS Teaching Trees partners and woodland
owners, and support development of relationships with other potential partners
Manage the Teaching Trees budget ensuring effective control of expenditure and good value
for money, and maintain accurate and current records of activity.
Ensure a consistently high standard of delivery of the Teaching Trees offer by Education
Officers directly and via children and teacher feedback.
Develop the Teaching Trees offer based on a good understanding of Teaching Tree’s place
