This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled advocate, strategic thinker and self starter to join a high performing Land Use Policy team on a permanent basis. The team covers agriculture, water, forestry and upland policy and works closely with RSPB land use policy colleagues in the other UK country offices and with policy advocates in Brussels to secure more sustainable land management and use. The team works collaboratively with other NGOs and networks, and with other RSPB and BirdLife International teams to ensure nature stays on the political agenda, both by working directly with decision makers and those who shape policy, and by encouraging others to step up and act on nature's behalf.
