Protecting Hyde's Heath is a Heritage Lottery Fund funded project led by the RSPB which offers one of the best opportunities to protect, restore and improve heathland in the UK. The project will make landscape scale conservation a reality on the northern shores of the Isle of Purbeck and will provide a range of options to better connect local communities with important human heritage and heathland heritage, engage with underrepresented groups, increase involvement and experience of volunteering and offer real change around access for all and embedding the natural world in our health and wellbeing.
