Are you looking for a unique role working in seabird, shorebird and habitat conservation amongst the shingle and saltmarsh of the Solent? The RSPB are now recruiting a seasonal warden based primarily at our Langstone Harbour reserve with some work across our reserves in the eastern Solent. During the summer breeding season, Langstone Harbour holds significant populations of terns, gulls and shorebirds which primarily nest on the RSPB's offshore islands. You'll be leading the habitat preparation work, monitoring and safeguarding of these important colonies. To do this, much of your time in suitable weather will be spent working offshore, accessing the area via our reserve boat ('The Good Tern'). Elsewhere, you'll be covering our summer seabird work at the West Hayling Local Nature Reserv
