We are looking for an enthusiastic naturalist with exceptional communication and people skills to inspire new volunteers to get involved with the Orkney Native Wildlife Project. You will be responsible for the "Citizen Science and Native Wildlife Monitoring" component of the project which aims to increase knowledge of species population trends in Orkney through co-ordinating native species surveys across the county (via staff and volunteers), delivering a Citizen Science Programme, and encouraging volunteer participation in wildlife surveying or monitoring remote nest camera footage. Focus species/groups will include the Orkney vole, meadow pipit, skylark, waders, birds of prey and seabirds. You will also set up a web page where stoat and native species sightings can be easily reported
