We are looking for two experienced mammal trappers with excellent organisation and communication skills to deliver the stoat eradication operation for the Orkney Native Wildlife Project. You must be physically fit, be able to work in a close-knit team and it is desirable that you are experienced in delivering non-native species eradications on the ground and skilled in the use and maintenance of DOC traps and trail cameras. You will enjoy being outdoors in all kinds of weather, and be able to perform a repetitive task to a consistently high standard. You must have knowledge of mustelid biology and behaviour and it is desirable that you have practical experience of trapping/tracking them in order to site traps appropriately.
