A.I.S., Inc. (AIS) is a national scientific services firm supporting maritime activities requiring certification of compliance with environmental regulations as well as collecting data for use by Federal, State, Municipal, and other government agencies along the US coastline. AIS is looking for a Salmon Ecology Modeler to support the Fish Ecology Division at the Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC). Primary Function: The Salmon Ecology Modeler will lead development of life cycle models for Columbia River salmon populations. The NWFSC Life Cycle Modeling Project is one of the highest priority projects for NWFSC. Life-cycle models (LCM) are a valuable tool for collating the impacts of diverse pressures, opportunities, and management actions on salmon population viability.
