Overview: Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge is looking for a college student or recent graduate who is interested in assisting with the refuge Environmental Education (EE) and Volunteer Programs. The SCA volunteer will facilitate spring field trips and outreach programs for K-12 students. The volunteer will facilitate in-classroom activities, aquatic ecology studies, and provide guided nature walks. The intern will also conduct EE off refuge for local schools. The SCA intern may also provide outreach to the public through fairs, presentations, and other community events. The volunteer may also become involved in a variety of work projects including habitat and trail restoration.
