Job summary: This position will aid FWS biologists in monitoring, protecting, and restoring natural resources throughout northeast Wisconsin. The intern will assist biologists with endangered species monitoring, habitat restoration, and invasive plant management. Assistance with habitat restoration tasks such as surveying, design, implementation, and monitoring will be included. Record keeping within on-going databases, electronic files, and on-line mapping systems will be performed. This position will interact with a wide variety of conservation partners and private landowners. The intern will help support outreach activities and prepare outreach materials.
