We’re currently looking for an experienced and inspirational conservation professional to help deliver the Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels – Developing Community Action project.  This initiative is designed to stop the decline of Scotland’s core red squirrel populations of the Highlands, Grampian, Northern Tayside and Stirling and maintain healthy populations of the species across key landscapes in southern Scotland. In this role, you’ll support and mentor a team of 5 Conservation Officers and their staff to maintain and develop landscape-scale red squirrel protection networks  of communities, individuals and landowners working together to manage grey squirrel populations to evolving regional strategies.
