A.I.S., Inc. (AIS) is a national scientific services firm supporting maritime activities requiring certification of compliance with environmental regulations as well as collecting data for use by Federal, State, Municipal, and other government agencies along the US coastline. Primary Function: This position will support plankton and hydrographic monitoring activities on the Oceans and Climate Branchís Ecosystem Monitoring (ECOMON) Survey. They will work as part of a team, assisting with the collection of zooplankton, ichthyoplankton, and hydrographic data. The ship works around the clock with researchers working, on duty for 12-hrs and off duty for 12-hrs during a 24-hour period. Duties include but are not limited too:
