World Fisheries Trust, created in 1995, is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to the equitable and sustainable use and conservation of aquatic biodiversity. It acts internationally with small-scale fisheries in Latin America and locally with environmental education and community-based environmental monitoring. WFT is in need of an educator and outreach officer for its Seaquaria Ocean Education program, based in Victoria, BC.  The candidate would assist in delivering educational programming in and out of schools, as well as participating in the management and maintenance of in-school marine “Seaquaria” and Salmon in the Classroom aquaria.  While we are expecting experience in environmental education, on-the Job training will be provided as needed.
