Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Resource Stewardship Program is seeking to fill a seasonal biologist position.  Primary duties include coordinating raptor monitoring, citizen science on state parks, research and implementation of Dark Skies programming at state parks.  This 40 hour per week position is split between field based biological surveys and training of volunteers, and the coordination of natural resource projects from our Grand Junction location. This position provides a great entrance into the working worlds of conservation biology, public land management, citizen science, and GIS in the beautiful state of Colorado.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of wildlife and vegetation known to inhabit Colorado and experience with wildlife and/or vegetation sampling techniq
