The Seasonal Naturalist position starts as a temporary, seasonal position teaching children outdoors. Naturalists can expect to work 20-40 hours during program weeks and are not guaranteed work outside of program weeks. Naturalists report to the Education Director and the Day Camp Director. Naturalists have the option to stay on year-round and work all seasons by invitation. Work between seasons and outside of program weeks is limited to 10-20 hours a week and involves supporting all GBOS functions. Those hired for the remainder of the winter season may work 10-20 hours weekly until the spring season. Work will include assisting the Directors and Board President with all GBOS functions.
