The Institute for Applied Ecology seeks a full-time, project manager in its Plant Materials Program to coordinate and manage seed collection projects. The Seed Collection Coordinator will manage wild seed collection projects with sites ranging across western Oregon (Willamette Valley, coast, and Cascade foothills). Collection species typically include restoration species as well as threatened, endangered, and sensitive species. Collection projects will include the Bureau of Land Management’s Seeds of Success program. There is a strong GIS and data management component with this position. The Coordinator will supervise 1-3 seasonal technicians and possibly one full-time plant materials technician. The Coordinator will be supervised by the Plant Materials Program Director.
