We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Ecologist to join a UK recognised Environmental Consultancy. Our client is made up of 5 offices strategically placed across England and Scotland, providing expert environmental consultancy to public and private sector clients across the UK.

As of late, my client has seen an increasing influence within the Scottish ecological market and are now looking to open up a new Scottish based ecological team within their Glasgow office. You will work alongside a variety of environmental consultants in an existing office and receive direct support from the Head of Environment.

The primary duties of this role will be to consolidate this Scottish ecological workload, with the aim of expanding and taking on 2 Graduate Ecologists by the time the new survey season is underway.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Senior Ecologist to take the reins of a Scottish ecological workload within a UK established environmental consultancy. Your career will flourish and grow alongside the growth of the Scottish ecological team.

Salary – £28,000 to £35,000 + Benefits.

Candidates sought after should hold the following:

• BSc and/or MSc in an environmental discipline.
• Ecological consultancy experience.
• Excellent ecological survey, assessment and report writing experience.
• Team leadership and man management qualities demonstrated in the private sector.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• CIEEM membership.
